Dennis Hopper’s estranged wife claims he really doesn’t want a divorce — but is being pressured into a split by his greedy daughter, according to court papers filed yesterday.
Victoria Hopper, 42, branded the “Easy Rider” star’s daughter Marin, 47, a selfish brat, who wants a bigger cut of her dad’s fortune when he dies.
“[Dennis Hopper] has told me that he does not want to divorce,” Victoria wrote, according to several Web sites.
“In the spring of 2009, [Dennis] told me his adult daughter Marin told him that I was ‘stealing’ Marin’s inheritance.”
Dennis Hopper, 73, who is suffering from terminal prostate cancer, filed for divorce earlier this month — reportedly to limit the amount his wife gets when he dies.
Victoria also has beefs with her hubby, who she claims smokes so much medicinal pot that he doesn’t think twice about lighting up in front of their daughter, Galen, 6.
A lawyer for the actor did not return messages seeking comment.
