Lindsay’s heaps of ‘garb’-age

If you think Lindsay Lohan is a mess in public, you should see what the inside of her Hollywood home looks like.

The screen star’s apartment is a pigsty, with one room littered floor-to-ceiling with piles of clothes, shoes and other expensive junk, she revealed to CBS’s “The Insider” in an interview airing tonight and Friday.

“I try not to come in here, that’s how bad it is,” she said of the spare bedroom in the condo she moved into last year after her home was robbed, allegedly by members of the “Bling Ring,” who wanted her pricey clothes.

“It gives me anxiety being in here. The clutter takes up a lot of space mentally,” she told “The Insider.”

Boxes of sandals and stilettos, as well as racks and racks of clothes, stand amid piles of dresses, handbags and other garments and opened moving boxes filled to the brim.

“The biggest problem is that I have a lot of stuff,” she told “The Insider” of her fashion addiction. “I finally have most of it in one place. I also love shopping. I shop a lot. I rewear stuff as much as I can. I’m in the fashion industry and it’s difficult.”

She said that her home has been cluttered this way for “a long time — too long.”

“I literally bolted out of my other house that I was in because it was robbed and I felt violated and uncomfortable,” she said.

The show will hold an intervention with a professional closet organizer and help Lohan clean up.

“I feel like when everything is in its place, then I will be able to breathe,” she said. “This is my home. I just want to be much more serene in here and clear.”

The results will air in an episode next week.
