Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr posed nude while six-and-a-half months pregnant for W magazine’s December issue that will focus on celebrity families, the magazine revealed Tuesday.
“For me, family is life,” Kerr, 27, told the fashion magazine who photographed her nude from the side while she caressed her baby bump.
“The decision to start one wasn’t complex at all,” she added.
Kerr explained that she was in Paris shooting an ad campaign for the minimalist German designer Jil Sander when she discovered she was pregnant.
“I was wondering why I’d been so sick,” she said.
The Victoria’s Secret model and her new husband, English actor Orlando Bloom, 33, announced in August that she was four months pregnant with their first child.
Speculation emerged the Australian beauty was expecting when she married the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor in a surprise July ceremony.
The December issue of W magazine also profiles “Grey’s Anatomy” actress Katherine Heigl and her two-year-old daughter Naleigh, former porn star Jenna Jameson and her twin boys, R&B singer Usher and his two sons and Madonna and her fashion collaborator daughter Lourdes.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, 29, posed completely nude in the cover shot — except for some strategically placed text boxes over her famous curves — on the front of W Magazine’s annual art issue released in November.
