“The O.C.” actress Rachel Bilson and “Star Wars” actor Hayden Christensen are giving their relationship another try just months after they announced they were calling off their engagement, People magazine reported Tuesday.
“They’re dating again,” a friend of the fashionista actress told the celebrity magazine.
Bilson and Christensen announced their engagement in February 2009, after they met on the set of “Jumper,” but a source told Us Weekly in June the couple were “taking about a month off,” to reconsider the status of their relationship.
Distance was reportedly one of the main reasons for the split, announced in August, with Bilson, 29, living primarily in Los Angeles and Christensen, 29, staying in his native Canada.
Christensen played the role of Anakin Skywalker in episodes II and III of the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy. He also appeared alongside Bilson in the 2009 romantic film “New York, I Love You.”
In addition to acting, Bilson has more recently been exploring the world of fashion by serving as a celebrity guest judge on season six of the reality TV show “Project Runway” and writing a monthly fashion column — “Ask Rachel” — in InStyle magazine.
