Kelsey Grammer and ex strike divorce deal: report

LOS ANGELES — Actor Kelsey Grammer and his estranged wife Camille Donatacci made a deal Monday that will allow Grammer to get an expedited divorce and marry his new girlfriend, TMZ reported.

Attorneys for the couple told the judge that they had reached a deal so a final divorce can be granted straight away while issues of money and property can be dealt with later, a process known as bifurcation.

The couple agreed to submit a signed divorce settlement by Thursday. After that, the divorce will be finalized within two weeks.

Grammer said earlier in January that he planned to marry fiancee Kayte Walsh at New York’s Plaza Hotel on Feb. 25 despite the fact that his split from Donatacci had not yet been finalized.

He and Walsh do not have a pre-nuptial agreement, even though his divorce from Donatacci will reportedly cost him $50 million.

The former “Cheers” and “Frasier” star filed for divorce from Donatacci, 42, in July 2010 after 13 years of marriage. The couple have two children — daughter Mason, nine, and son Jude, six.

Grammer announced in August that he and Walsh were expecting a baby but Walsh, 29, suffered a miscarriage in September. He confirmed his engagement to the British flight attendant in December.
