Baby sitter killed blizzard baby: cops

A tragic Queens infant who died after his rush to the hospital was hampered by unplowed streets was killed by the family’s beloved baby sitter, authorities alleged yesterday.

Ana Delarosa, 26, of Corona, is accused of shaking a wailing 3-month-old Addison Reynoso-Xoyatla so hard on Dec. 29 that he stopped breathing, a criminal complaint said.

She was charged with second-degree murder and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the complaint, Addison began crying at around 11 a.m. Dec. 29.

“What’s wrong with you? Why are you crying? Why won’t you stop crying?” Delarosa screamed as she “shook him hard,” the complaint alleged.

The baby developed breathing problems, and Delarosa called the infant’s dad, Luis, who rushed over and began CPR while mom Rocio called 911.

It took minutes to get through to 911, more for responders to get to Corona, and a half-hour for EMTs to get Addison to Elmhurst Hospital — after their ambulance got stuck in the snow a block away.

Addison was declared brain dead and taken off life support Jan. 4.
