Tourist busted after venturing into Dakota, bumping into Yoko Ono

An adventurous tourist gave Yoko Ono a scare at the The Dakota, after he paid the famous Upper West Side apartment building an unwelcome visit, sources told The Post.

Sungno Kim, 24, entered The Dakota on Jan. 12 to look around and take some photos of the Big Apple from the roof.

As he rode in the elevator at about 1 p.m., he happened to bump into the wife of the late Beatle John Lennon

She thought there was something strange about Kim and was so alarmed she told the concierge, who called the police.

Sungno Kim, 24, was arrested inside the landmark building and charged with criminal trespass.

At one point during his visit he was spotted by the building manager on the rooftop, where signs were posted “no trespass,” the sources said.

Law enforcement sources said Kim, who stands 5-foot-6 and is 125 pounds, entered through the service entrance of The Dakota at 1 West 72nd Street and boarded a freight elevator.

Kim, a Korea native, was wearing tan work boots, blue jeans and waist-length black jacket at the time of his arrest.
