‘Shore’ bores on loose

In a city boasting world-class art, Renaissance architecture, famous museums, gourmet food and high fashion, The Sitch chose the gym.

Jersey Shore reality star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and a few of his seven castmates began their first full day in Italy’s classiest city adhering to the mantra GTL — gym, tan, laundry.

The Jerseyans also racked up $375 in traffic fines while tooling around Florence, for driving in a pedestrian zone and blowing a red light, said Mayor Matteo Renzi.

They managed to kick up a familiar ruckus while on foot as well: Stopping for dinner after a walk, the crew got high-fives from Americans and boos from the locals.

“It’s beautiful — we love it,” four of the stars shouted to The Post about their Italian adventure.

Later, the crew hung laundry over the balcony rail at their posh townhouse before heading out for a night on the town.

It’s like they never left home.

Hours after landing in Florence for a month of shooting for their fourth season of the MTV reality show, the crew ventured out for fun at the city-center fair Friday night.

Sorrentino, wearing a T-shirt bragging “Lady Killer” and oversized rosary beads, studied a book titled “Dirty Italian” while relaxing on a bench. Castmate Ronnie Ortiz-Magro rode a carousel horse — backward.

The locals remained unimpressed.

“Why don’t they get out of town?” shouted one man as he passed the crew in a car. “They are all idiots”

But Americans abroad couldn’t get enough.

“We love the show and when we heard they were in Florence we had to come and see them,” said one 20-year-old University of Indiana student in Florence on a study-abroad program.
