Six months after he was officially made the CEO of TV Guide, Jack Kliger is out.
He had been consulting as the acting CEO for five years before the appointment.
David Fishman, who was a brand consultant at the company and a pal of Kliger’s from their days at Hachette Filipacchi, is the new CEO.
“I’ve worked with Jack for 20 years. It will be a smooth transition,” Fishman insisted.
Kliger could not be reached, but a spokesman said he left to focus on new ventures and entrepreneurial opportunities with his own Kliger Media Associates.
