Woman killed by train after reportedly fainting onto Brooklyn tracks

A woman was struck and killed by a subway in Brooklyn after she reportedly fainted, authorities said.

She was hit by a southbound 3 train at the Crowns Heights-Utica Avenue stop about 10:15 a.m., according to an MTA spokesman.

The 3 train is now running express between Atlantic Avenue and Utica Avenue.

A source said the straphanger tumbled after passing out, but this has not yet been confirmed by the NYPD.

She died at the scene from her injuries.
