Producer Dick Richards selling Sherry-Netherland pad

Dick Richards, who was nominated for an Academy Award for producing the film “Tootsie,” is selling his apartment in the Sherry-Netherland for $3.49 million.

Richards began his career as a Life magazine photographer. He then moved into directing commercials.

The renovated two-bedroom, two-bathroom co-op features a large living room with an open kitchen. The unit comes with hotel amenities and can be part of the hotel’s “rental pool” for income. The listing brokers are Randall Gianopulos and Catherine Godbille-Koechlin, of Sotheby’s International.

Speaking of the Sherry-Netherland, the former home of Francis Ford Coppola in the historic building is now on the market for $7.5 million.

The current dining room/library could be used as a third bedroom and comes with an adjacent full-size bathroom.

It can also be bought fully furnished.

That the 42nd annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House will take over the iconic Mansion on Madison, at 457 Madison Ave.

Built in 1884 and renovated in 2011, the six-story, 26,190-square-foot mansion was constructed by Henry Villard, president of the Northern Pacific Railway, and is adjacent to the Palace Hotel.

The Show House, open for a month, launches May 1.
