ToiletFinder offers cash for bathroom reviews

Struggling writers rejoice: You can now be paid to review public toilets.

The website ToiletFinder.com is offering cash for professional reviews of New York’s best and worst facilities, calling on university-educated writers to help lift the quality of the site’s user-generated content.

The job, outlined in an online posting, is pitched as a competition for would-be critics.

ToiletFinder creator Michael Li is inviting applicants to post witty reviews of bathrooms that have not yet been rated on the site, promising $20 for each “good entry.”

“Be creative, helpful and slightly disgusting,” Li says. “Not necessarily in that order, LOL. Remember, the goal is to have fun while helping to make peoples’ lives easier.”

Li will award his favorite contributor an ongoing $100-a-day copywriting job and a share of the website’s profits.
