Authorities have identified the gun-toting thug who fired at cops in Bushwick as he was being pursued for allegedly dealing drugs, authorities said.

Narcotics officers approached Darren Moore, 25, near the corner of Garden Street and Flushing Avenue at around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, cops said.

Moore took off running, and the officers chased him for about four blocks until he pulled a Browning .380 semi-automatic handgun and fired at the intrepid lawmen hot on his heels, cops said.

The bullet narrowly missed the officers and pierced the window of a vehicle.

Police were able to grab the gunman before he could get off a second round and wrestled him into submission, cops said.

Moore was charged with aggravated attempted murder of a police officer, criminal sale of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon and resisting arrest, said law- enforcement authorities.

Staten Island

A months-long investigation of drug dealing led to the arrests of a band of suspects — including a couple selling narcotics out of their Great Kills storefront, said law-enforcement authorities.

Nine people were arrested Wednesday when officers from the Staten Island Narcotics Bureau obtained a warrant after conducting surveillance for several months, court documents indicate.

The suspects are accused of selling a variety of drugs including OxyContin, marijuana and heroin.

Nicholas Guido, 58, and girlfriend Sandra Rocco, 49, allegedly sold the drugs to undercover officers on multiple occasions between May and December of last year at the ANW Twice As Nice Decorators store on Amboy Road, according to a Criminal Court complaint.

The couple also conducted multiple drug deals out of the company’s work vehicle, the complaint states.

The other suspects nabbed in Wednesday’s raid include Michael Miglionica, 39, and girlfriend Jessica Miro-Garcia, 33, a Grant City couple who sold drugs to undercover officers on nine separate occasions, court records show.

Pasquale Mongelli, 25, Andrew Ferrera, 24, Jonathan Smerina, 27, Fariz Demiroski, 23, and Lorraine Wojcik, 25, were also arrested and hit with numerous drug charges, according to a spokesman for District Attorney Daniel Donovan.
