Transit cop busted in alleged drunken spat over broken remote control

A boozed-up transit cop was arrested after he got into a clash with his wife in Brooklyn over a broken remote control, law-enforcement sources said.

Aleksandr Galper, 32, and his wife, 28, began arguing about 7:55 p.m. Monday in their Coney Island residence near Neptune Avenue, sources said.

“You b-tch, you broke the remote control!” Galper allegedly snarled. “You owe me money, so get me a new one!”

He then allegedly spat in her face, knocked over a bookshelf, and threw bottles of perfume, glass vases, and a picture frame at her– but missed, hitting the wall instead, sources added.

The victim locked herself in the bedroom, and called the police. She was not physically injured.

Galper was taken into custody at the scene, and hit with a slew of charges, including reckless endangerment, menacing, and harassment, as well as two counts of criminal mischief.

Galper joined the NYPD in 2006, sources added.
