SI: Pats’ TE Hernandez questioned in regards to dead body in N. Attleboro

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez was questioned by authorities in Massachusetts in connection with a body that was found in North Attleboro, Sports Illustrated reports.

According to Sports Illustrated, Hernandez was questioned Tuesday, less than a day after a teenager jogging near an old construction area on John Dietsch Road found the body.

The Bristol district attorney’s office told FOX 25 Tuesday that based on the “nature and circumstances” the death was under investigation.

It was not immediately known what Hernandez would be charged with. He owns a home just miles away from the construction site.

The Sun Chronicle reported earlier Tuesday that the body was that of a 27-year-old Boston man. The paper reported that the body was found in a clearing between Dietsch Boulevard and Landry Avenue and that it may have been there for more than a day. The Chronicle also reported that investigators had found a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban registered to Enterprise Rent-A-Car which was wanted in connection with the killing.
