Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris — still in the hospital recovering from a suicide attempt — testified in her father’s wrongful-death trial via a prerecorded video yesterday.
The 15-year-old, who is suing promoter AEG Live along with her grandmother and siblings, was questioned under oath in October about her former nanny, Grace Rwaramba.
The family claims that AEG fired Rwaramba — and Jacko’s chef, Kai Chase — two months before the King of Pop died in 2009.
But Paris’ deposition disputed that.
When asked why Rwaramba was fired, she pointed the finger at her father, and not AEG.
“My dad didn’t like her . . . She was sneaky. She wasn’t an honest person, and lied a lot,” Paris said.
Jacko hired Rwaramba back more than once because he felt sorry for her, Paris said, adding, “She didn’t really have money.”
Also yesterday, it was revealed that Paris has refused to celebrate her own birthday since her dad died.
Chase testified that Paris remembers her 11th-birthday party, in 2009, when the family laid out a massive spread of food and hosted a show of jugglers and stilt-walkers.
“Paris hasn’t had a birthday party since,” Chase said. “She doesn’t want to celebrate it.”
