A pal of gridiron star Aaron Hernandez said the former New England Patriot admitted to pulling the trigger that killed his friend in an industrial park last month, according to documents filed yesterday.

Carlos Ortiz told Massachusetts investigators that another friend, Ernest Wallace, heard the tattooed former National Football League tight end confess to slaying semi-pro-football player Odin Lloyd, the documents said.

Ortiz also said he was in the car with Hernandez, Wallace and Lloyd the night of the shooting. Ortiz said the car suddenly stopped in the industrial park and everyone, except Ortiz, got out to urinate.

Ortiz said he heard the gunshots before Hernandez and Wallace got back in the car and sped away — without Lloyd. Ortiz said it was too dark to see who fired the shots.

Back at Hernandez’s home, Ortiz said, Wallace asked him to get a small gun from under the driver’s seat of the vehicle.

Wallace faces a charge of accessory to murder and has pleaded not guilty.

The revelations were included in 156 pages of police affidavits used to support search warrants served on the murder suspect, a former University of Florida football player.

The documents, unsealed yesterday, also say Hernandez was “argumentative” with investigators in the days after Lloyd’s death and at one point slammed the door on police.

The former Pro Bowl star allegedly even ordered his fiancée to keep quiet about the murder.

Officers showed up at the door of Hernandez’s North Attleboro, Mass., mansion on June 18, one day after Lloyd, 27, was found murdered a half-mile away.

Hernandez, 23, was in no mood to talk, according to cops.

“Aaron Hernandez then became argumentative with the officers, and asked ‘What’s with all the questions?’ ” State Police Trooper Eric Benson wrote.

“Mr. Hernandez slammed the door and relocked it behind him.”

The disgraced NFLer told police to talk to his lawyer, and didn’t seem to care much about Lloyd, according to the records.

“Mr. Hernandez did not ask officers whose death was being investigated,” according to Benson. Mr. Hernandez’s demeanor did not indicate any concern for the death of any person.”

Lloyd had been dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins.

Jenkins broke down in tears after police told her about Lloyd’s death, and she was initially cooperative with investigators.

But police discussions with Jenkins ended abruptly after Hernandez called and told her that his “sports agent said she should not speak with police,” according one affidavit.

Hernandez later agreed to be questioned at a police station, the documents state.

The unsealed search warrants also revealed that authorities combed through Hernandez’s home, his phone records and his locker at the Patriots’ training facility.

Police seized a rifle and ammunition found in Hernandez’s home.
