‘Hair’-brained: ‘Bong’ diva Bynes’ hue turn in court

Another court date, another wig.

Amanda Bynes blew into Manhattan Criminal Court on her bizarre bong-toss case yesterday — and while not much happened, she did not disappoint some two dozen reporters and photographers with her less-than-appropriate court attire.

The wild former child star wore waist-length powder-blue synthetic hair, gigantic false lashes and a pout as she stood before Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Diana Boyar and learned her next court date is Sept. 26.

Unlike at her May arraignment, Bynes — who wore a wild blond wig then — said nothing to reporters outside court, in keeping with a tweet from earlier yesterday: “I ignore you if I want nothing from you.”

Prosecutors have filed paperwork stating they are ready for trial, but made no offer or recommendation for a plea deal.

Bynes, 27, is charged with flinging the pot-smoking device out of her Times Square apartment’s 36th-floor window after cops came to investigate a report she’d been smoking a joint down in the lobby.

Police have yet to recover said bong, save for a few suspicious shards of glass found on a fifth-floor balcony below, sources have told The Post.

Yesterday’s court appearance, lasting mere minutes, was just a brief surfacing from Bynes’ ongoing Twitter wars with everyone from President and Michelle Obama to Rihanna.

The troubled actress on Monday tweeted, “Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are ugly!”

“I Want A Million Dollars A Year For Illegally Having My Mind Read And Privacy Stolen,” she tweeted on July 1.

Other recent erratic behavior has included shaving half of her head, tweeting topless pics of herself, a grab bag of LA driving-infraction arrests and accusing an arresting officer in the bong case of “slapping” her vagina.

Her high-powered defense lawyer, Gerald Shargel, had no comment as he ushered Bynes past her latest press scrum yesterday.
