WATCH: Man sticks up convenience store with BB gun, clerk pulls gun and corners perp

A robber’s attempt to hold up a shop with a BB gun has been foiled after a worker at the store pulled out a real handgun.

James Hayes is accused of trying to rob Moh’s Market, around 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

A video clip shows shows a suspect entering the Ambridge store and pointing his pellet gun at the store clerk, who responds by brandishing a genuine firearm.

A scuffle ensues between the pair, before the robber falls over and is seen being kicked and pushed out of the store by the worker.

Police said they caught the suspect at a nearby apartment when a woman was heard shouting that a man with a gun had just run into her home.
