Kim Kardashian laid into Katie Couric over Instagram yesterday after the chirpy chat-show host sent a baby gift to the new mom — then dissed her reality-TV family.
Earlier this summer, Couric had sent a baby outfit with a gift card to Kim and her beau, Kanye West.
“Dear Kim & Kanye, Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl! . . . And may I humbly suggest you continue the K tradition for na[mes.] Fondly, Katie Couric,” the card read.
In a later interview with InTouch magazine, Couric said of the Kardashian crew, “I don’t understand — why are they so famous?
“I think it’s mostly teenaged girls that are interested.”
In response, a fuming Kim took a not-so-subtle jab at Couric, posting a photo of the outfit for daughter North West and the note from Couric — along with the hashtags “IHateFakeMediaFriends” and “MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkS–t.”
