Paul Walker fan arrested for stealing piece of crash site

An 18-year-old man has been arrested for stealing a piece of the wreckage from Paul Walker’s fatal crash.

Jameson Witty allegedly took the roof panel of the red Porsche Carrera as Police were transporting the remains of the car on a tow truck on Thursday night in Los Angeles.

Later that night he posted a photo of the souvenir on Instagram with the caption, “Piece of Paul Walker’s car. Took it off a tow truck at a stop light.”

He was arrested soon after.

Witty, and another man who has yet to be captured, will face charges of evidence tampering and theft and could face jail time.

Their case won’t be helped by a video on TMZ that reportedly shows the two men stealing the pieces of wreckage.

Witty appears to be a Paul Walker fan, with other Instagram posts revealing he is helping organise a memorial for the “Fast and Furious” star planned for December 28.
