Notre Dame running back Cam McDaniel has become the new darling of the Internet after he was snapped looking very good doing something that should have him looking the opposite.
McDaniel was pictured running through a pile of players, taking heavy hits, churning his legs, desperately holding onto the ball – AND – losing this helmet from a tackle in the Fightin’ Irish’s 14-10 win over USC on Saturday night.
This information is important, because the physical punishment he must have endured to get to the point where this photo was taken means he should really look something awful.
His face should be contorted; eyes popping out of his head, gritting his teeth, every vein and sinew of his face stretched beyond their limit, sweating and hideous.
Instead, he looks like this – smouldering and smizing (smiling with his eyes), cool and unaffected, like a movie star or a model pulling a Blue Steel face.
