‘Drunk’ woman critical after falling out of cab’s window

Two pedestrians are in critical condition after they were nearly killed in separate incidents in Manhattan authorities said.

A man was severely injured when he was struck by a hit and run driver at a busy Midtown intersection just before 7 a.m. Saturday, cops said

The 31-year-old man was crossing 40th Street at Eighth Avenue when a white or gray pickup truck traveling east on 40th slammed into him.

The driver sped off leaving the badly injured man lying in the street.

He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with severe body trauma and is expected to survive, according to police.

An 18-year-old woman was also severely injured downtown when a taxi sped off as she was trying to climb through the car’s open passenger side window, cops said.

The woman may have been intoxicated as she approached several cabs looking for a ride at around midnight near East Houston and Lafayette Streets before finally trying to climb through one hack’s window.

The driver tried to speed off as the woman’s body was only half inside the car, causing the woman to fall into the street and suffer severe injuries.

She was also taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition, cops said.

The taxi driver is currently being sought.
