Winter Antiques Show

The Winter Antiques Show marks its 57th year as one of the most prestigious antiques show in America, featuring the “best of the best” from antiquities through the 1960s. The show provides curators, established collectors, dealers, design professionals and first-time buyers with opportunities to view and purchase exceptional pieces showcased by 75 exhibitors. Opening Reception of Via Verde

Via Verde is a housing development in the South Bronx consisting of 222 mixed-income apartments. It was the winning scheme of the New Housing New York Legacy Competition, a design contest initiated by the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter, in conjunction with the New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development, and the New Housing New York Steering Committee. The project was designed by two firms, Dattner Architects and Grimshaw Architects, joined by The Phipps Houses Group and Jonathan Rose Companies as co-developers. The exhibition includes pre-construction photos, copies of the construction drawings, construction photography, the green living guides that assist new owners and renters and striking photography of the recently completed building. 6-8 pm. Brooklyn Real Estate Roundtable Series

The Brooklyn Real Estate Roundtable is a quarterly luncheon series dedicated to examining, analyzing, reviewing and predicting the critical issues in Brooklyn real estate. This luncheon’s speakers are Kenneth Adams, President of the Empire State Development Corporation, Ben Bernstein, Principal, RedSky Capital LLC, and Ken Horn, Principal, Alchemy Properties.
