UFC still priority, but Ronda Rousey will try to cram in filming ‘Expendables’ and ‘Fast 7’ before title fight

Ronda Rousey joining the cast of “Fast & Furious 7” is no first-round knockout.

The UFC women’s champion told The Post on Thursday that her “main priority” is still her title fight Dec. 28 and she is locked into traveling to Bulgaria to film “The Expendables 3” this fall.

Variety reported Wednesday that Rousey is in negotiations to be in “Fast 7” and that she would film “Expendables” and that back-to-back before battling Miesha Tate at UFC 168 in Las Vegas.

Rousey, 26, said “if we can make everything work” she might be able to do all three things before the year is out.

“I think the only person who could make it happen is the hardest working crazy bitch in the world, which is me,” she told The Post.

Rousey would have to go from Bulgaria for “Expendables” to Atlanta to film “Fast 7,” according to Variety. She’s already stated that she would bring some of her training partners overseas and she’d likely have to do the same for the second film. Then Rousey would need about six weeks where she just focuses on training for Tate.

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker will both be back for “Fast 7,” according to Variety. “Fast & Furious 6” was the highest grossing film for Universal, having made in excess of $740 million. Variety reports that the studio sees the next sequel as a major priority – and Rousey being tabbed for the part has officially signaled her leap to the mainstream if being in “Expendables” hadn’t already.

There has already been speculation that Rousey, a former Olympic judo medalist, won’t hang around in the UFC for long. Gina Carano left her MMA career when she started landing major film roles like the lead of “Haywire.” Rousey is represented by William Morris Endeavor and UFC president Dana White said last week that he’s already had a run-in with her “Hollywood lawyer.”

But Rousey maintains that the UFC is her No. 1 priority.

“I will never care about anything more than fighting,” she said.

Which is why she’s still trying to figure out how she can work “Fast 7” into her ridiculously busy schedule leading up to the Tate fight. She has already made a promise for “Expendables.”

“My word is everything,” Rousey said. “You can call me a crazy c—, but you can’t call me a liar.”
