WATCH: Griffin advises Bonnar not to punch, kick or submit Silva at UFC 153

As long as you don’t try to punch, kick or submit Anderson Silva, you’re cool.

That’s the advice Forrest Griffin gives Stephan Bonnar in this hilarious preview video for UFC 153. Bonnar meets Silva, the sport’s pound-for-pound king, Saturday night in the Rio de Janeiro card’s main event.

Griffin was embarrassed badly by Silva two years ago, losing by knockout in the first round. Silva made the former light heavyweight champion look absolutely terrible and there are clips from the fight in the video.

The video is obviously a joke, though Bonnar is a massive underdog – 13-to-1 in some sports books. Bonnar’s expressions in the promo are hysterical.

Bonnar and Griffin fought each other in what has been called the greatest fight in UFC history. Company president Dana White has credited that bout – in the finals of the first “Ultimate Fighter” reality show – as saving the UFC.

The pair has been friends ever since. Bonnar has even talked about naming his son Griffin – with his full name, Griffin Bonnar, signifying the monumental bout.

If that, maybe the two of them can form a comedy duo after their fighting careers.
