Red Bulls add more trialists

The Red Bulls sprinkled in a few more trialiasts to the Mexico leg of training camp, keeper Matthew Glaeser, Leobardo Alvarez and defender Ray Yeboah.

With only newly-signed Jeremy Vuolo and second-round draft pick Ryan Mera as goalkeepers on the roster, GM Erik Soler has said he planned to bring in at least one trialist at the position. Matt Glaeser is a 26-year-oldVirginian who has been playing for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the North American Soccer League.

After playing for Finnish third division club Pallo-Iirot in 2009, he spent most of the next year as the backup to ex-Red Bull Caleb Patterson-Sewell at Miami FC of the USSF Division 2 Prof League, before moving on to Ft. Lauderdale.

Defender Leobardo Alvarez is a UANL Tigres youth product with Colombian experience. He most recently played for the NPSL’s Hollywood United Hitmen last year, helping them become Western Conference champions in their first season in the league.

Ray Yeboah is a 17-year-old Ghanian defender, who was recently in the youth setup of noted Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, where ex-Red Bull Jozy Altidore plies his trade.
