DaMarcus Beasley makes Mexican move

PUEBLA, Mexico — U.S. international DaMarcus Beasley has linked up with Puebla in Mexico after deciding to leave Bundesliga side Hannover, Sky Sports reported Wednesday.

The 29-year-old spent last season in Germany but his appearances were scarce after his move from Scottish club Rangers, where he enjoyed three successful seasons.

Puebla announced news of Beasley’s arrival on its Twitter account, saying, “DaMarcus Beasley confirmed, further strengthening the team.”
