Report: Pool, Jackson to visit Jets; Murrell signs with Patriots

Browns free agent safety Brandon Pool will visit the Jets tomorrow as they search for a replacement for Kerry Rhodes, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Pool visited the Rams on Monday, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

The Jets also plan to speak with Colts DB Marlon Jackson, according to Ravens Insider.

Rhodes was traded to the Cardinals on Saturday, leaving the Jets with three safeties: Jim Leonhard, James Ihedigbo and Eric Smith.

Linebacker/special teamer Marques Murrell signed with the Patriots, according to the Boston Herald.
