If you’re a fan of the U.S. National Team or the Premiership, you may have heard about Clint Dempsey’s score against Stoke. Well, here is the video. And make no mistake, this one was a golazo.
It’s a sensational 40-yard strike, flat-out unstoppable. It’s got to be the goal of the month, if not of the season.
Dempsey was just named by Gazzetta dello Sport as one the Premier League’s Best XI this season and its best left-winger.
He’s proven that when he’s pushed upfield he can score, and with U.S. right winger DaMarcus Beasley returning to form with Rangers and striker Charlie Davies still injured and seemingly unlikely to be ready for this summer’s World Cup, Dempsey could be a viable option up top with Jozy Altidore.
