L.I. thug to face charges in seven ‘knockout’ attacks

A Long Island man will be charged with punching out seven men as part of the “knockout” game, according to a spokesman for the Suffolk County Prosecutors office.

Darryl Mitchell, 20, of North Amityville will be arraigned Wednesday in Suffolk County Criminal Court for allegedly slugging the victims — two of them over the age 65 — in confirmed incidents of the violent game, the spokesman said.

Mitchell was caught by cops on Dec. 4 after he punched a 69-year-old man twice at around noon on Williams in North Babylon and tried to flee.
