Man United reportedly land Barbatov

By BRIAN LEWIS

Manchester United’s Sir Alex Ferguson blew off an olive-branch visit to Cristiano Ronaldo to negotiate for Dimitar Berbatov _ and if the Telegram is to be believed, the Red Devils have agreed to pay Tottenham $55 million for the striker.

Meanwhile, Spanish website AS.com claims they’d bid $87.5 million for Argentine and Atletico Madrid forward Sergio Aguero. But it seems far more likely that they’ll be bringing the 27-year-old Bulgarian to Old Trafford, perhaps courtesty of the cash made from the sale of CR7.
