Some must-see fantasy TV

It’s going to be an exciting season this year on Fantasy Tracker Network Television. Here’s a look at some shows premiering this fall on FTN-TV. Daunte Culpepper stars in “Bionic Raider.” It’s the story of a QB hampered by injuries and poor production the past several seasons who finally breaks back onto the fantasy scene. In the pilot, Culpepper torches the Dolphins. But Culpepper’s super powers aren’t as strong as it first appears. He becomes a solid bye-week fill-in or a starter for desperate teams.

Cowboys WR Patrick Crayton takes the lead in the reality-TV drama “Deadliest Catch.” Crayton lures multitudes of fantasy owners after his big day vs. the Rams. With opposing teams too focused on Terrell Owens, Jason Witten and the Dallas running game, Crayton entrenches himself as a strong fantasy option as a third wide receiver or flex.

In the comedy “Two-and-a-Half Backs,” LaMont Jordan learns he has to share his backfield home with fellow RB Dominic Rhodes, who is returning from a suspension after the Week 5 bye. Jordan finds his fantasy numbers hindered by Rhodes, leaving Jordan owners scrambling to replace the big point totals of his first three weeks. Week 4 fill-in Justin Fargas is left out in the cold.

Recently benched Rams QB Marc Bulger and WR Torry Holt co-star in “Lost.” They are stranded on an island all alone, with no offensive help. With a beat-up O-line and a second-string running back for the next few episodes, the two spend most of the season searching for answers, as fantasy owners search for ways to trade them.

In “CSI: Tampa,” RBs Michael Pittman and Earnest Graham try to solve the mystery of creating a Buccaneers running game in the absence of RB Cadillac Williams and offensive lineman Luke Petitgout. Graham leads the investigation by finding some important clues near the goal line, but Pittman tracks down the key yardage. The two work well together, but individually they look like a cold case for fantasy owners.

Last week’s Survivor pick: San Diego over Kansas City (loss). This week’s pick: Dallas over Buffalo. Record: 3-1.
