Week 4 lineups

A quick take on who to start and sit:

START

Plaxico Burress, WR, Giants – Listed as questionable, but expect him to play.

Wes Welker, WR, Patriots – Could be a shootout vs. Cincy, and with Laurence Maroney nursing a sore groin, the ground game may not get a lot of attention.

Greg Jennings, WR, Packers – We expect good things vs. the Vikings team that does not allow the run.

Thomas Jones, RB, Jets – We expect Jones’ best game of the year thus far.

Roy Williams, WR, Lions – Not that you shouldn’t start Williams every week, but we’re especially high on him this week. Fellow WR Calvin Johnson is dinged up, as is the Bears secondary.

Jeff Garcia, QB, Buccaneers – If Joey Harrington can torchthe Carolina secondary, why not Garcia?

Sanantonio Holmes, WR, Steelers – With Hines Ward out, Holmes becomes the top WR option.

Reggie Brown, WR, Eagles – The Giants secondary is still soft. And Kevin Curtis will get extra attention after his superhuman game last week.

SIT

Laurence Maroney, RB, Patriots – Listed a questionable (groin). He should play, but expect a limited role and limited production.

Javon Walker, WR, Broncos – If you have an adequate replacement, put Walker (knee) on the bench. We expect a better game from No. 2 WR Brandon Marshall.

Lee Evans, WR, Bills – Sooner or later, he’ll break out. But we don’t think it will come in his first game with backup QB Trent Edwards.

Jamal Lewis, RB, Browns – Don’t over-analyze. Just because Lewis wants to show up his former team doesn’t mean he will be able to behind a poorous Cleveland O-line.

DeShaun Foster, RB, Panthers – Don’t get happy over his 100-yard game last week. Foster always rips the Falcons, but very few others.
