Is Joey a Deadbeat?

Matt LeBlanc’’s former manager is suing the former ““Friends”” star for more than $1 million, according to Variety.

In court papers filed in Los Angeles yesterday, Camille Cerio claims that she was LeBlanc’s manager from April 1994 until the end of 1995, and during that time signed a contract with him that entitled her to commissions on income he earned from “Friends” and any spin-offs of the show, including LeBlanc’’s failed sitcom, “”Joey.”

According to the lawsuit, LeBlanc paid her those commissions until 2000, but has not paid her anything since then. Cerio said LeBlanc, as recently as last year, told her he would come up with an accounting of all money owed since the last payment in 2000, and then pay all the money owed. However, she said, no further money has been forthcoming.

Cerio said she does not know exactly how much money is owed her, but estimates it is more than $1 million. Her suit asks for a full accounting of all money earned by LeBlanc from “Friends” and “Joey” since 2000, and a court order for payment of all unpaid commissions, plus court costs and expenses. –
