Page Six is reporting that that Darren Star’s “Cashmere Mafia” won’t be renewed at ABC.
While ABC drags its heels on ordering more episodes of “Cashmere,” sources say the competition, NBC, plans to renew Candace Bushnell’s “Lipstick Jungle.”
The outlook for “Cashmere,” starring Lucy Liu, is bleak, partly because “Lipstick” – another series about Manhattan career women, starring Brooke Shields – is handily winning the ratings war.
