Clemens stays silent, again

By KEVIN KERNAN

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Roger Clemens tried to “move forward” today, but it’s not going to be that simple.

An irritated Clemens arrived at Astros minor league camp shortly before 11 this morning and defiantly marched past a group of reporters and photographers.

After arriving, he sat in his jet black Hummer for several minutes. Clemens then got out carrying a University of Texas sweatshirt, among other items, and walked past a wall of photographers and reporters.

Pointing out that the major league team was practicing, a disgusted Clemens said sarcastically, “There’s a big league team to the left I think, I’m not sure. Wow! You guys need to get a life.”

Asked by The Post before he walked into the minor league complex if he would have a minute to talk later, Clemens, after exchanging hellos, said without breaking stride, “Nope.”

As he walked away he added, “I did all I’m going to do yesterday.”

With that he disappeared into the minor league complex. He took the field around quarter-to-12 and chatted with some minor leaguers before taking the mound to throw batting practice.

His son Koby, 21, a catcher in the organization, was expected to bat against his dad.
