Miss at your own risk

Highlights for the week of Feb. 17

Don’t worry, there’s no nudity

“Dexter” makes the jump from Showtime to network TV tonight, but don’t worry, the kids won’t hear any bad language (it’s been edited). And while they might see a woman’s fingers torn off, they won’t see her breasts, so apparently the FCC thinks it’s safe to let ’em watch.

Hold onto the “Knight”

The remake of “Knight Rider” will probably be a lame Sunday night movie, but then again, the original series was pretty cheesy, too. Another chance to see the Hoff (above right) show off his acting chops.

Dontcha wish for more “Dolls”

The Pussycat Dolls are back on Monday with their so-bad-it’s-funny reality show, this time torturing a new set of victims (left) to be in their spin-off group, Girlicious. Apparently, one of the contestants takes a spill and ends up in a wheelchair, and the judges ask if she can still dance. Priceless.

“Myth” vs. MacGyver

Wednesday’s episode of “Mythbusters” challenges MacGyver and his legendary duct-tape creations. In celebration of their 100th episode, the modern-day Mr. Wizards test the ’80s escape artist’s sodium-and-water bomb and the bamboo airplane.

For those of you with daytime jobs

If you haven’t seen Drew Carey (right) as host of “The Price Is Right” because you work during the day, you can catch him and a pricing game during the prime-time version of the venerable game show on Friday night.
