Starr Report

John Barrowman stars in the series; he’s joined this season by guest-star (and ex-“Buffy” star) James Marsters (R).

Speaking of DVDs, I’m now on the fourth (and penultimate) season of NBC’s “Get Smart” which, to me, started to derail when Max (Don Adams) and 99 (Barbara Feldon) got engaged, then married. It’s fun, though, to see James Caan in an episode (as “Rupert of Rathskeller). Caan and Adams became good friends, and Caan provides a voiceover commentary for the 1969 episode.

Last, but not least:

* Ch. 5’s Linda Schmidt visits PS 40 today (career day).

* Florence Henderson, rumored as a possible “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, kicks off her self-titled show Thursday (3 p.m./Retirement Living TV).

* Good eatin’: John Lithgow at Isabella’s (Upper West Side); Guy Fieri (Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”) dining at Vento.

* It’s always good to see the subtly funny Steve Landesberg, who’s reappeared as a co-star of the Starz show “Head Games,” created by and starring Alexandra Wentworth as a Hollywood shrink with celebrity clients (playing themselves).

* We goofed: Tomorrow’s “Boston Legal” episode has nothing to do with a sperm bank or a storyline on “SVU.”
