It’s still win-and-in for the Giants regarding the playoffs, but their opportunity to win has dwindled with two regular-season games remaining.
Here’s how they Giants this weekend become an NFC wild card team:
IF MINNESOTA BEATS CHICAGO TONIGHT:
Giants clinch playoff berth with:
1) Win or tie OR
2) Redskins loss or tie + Saints loss or tie
IF CHICAGO BEATS MINNESOTA TONIGHT:
Giants clinch playoff berth with:
1) Win or tie OR
2) Saints loss or tie
The Giants can lose their last two games, finish 9-7 and still make the playoffs. Two of the following three things must happen in the next two weeks:
Saints lose one game.
Redskins lose one game.
Vikings lose two games (including tonight).
