Sean “P. Diddy” Combs has been dissed as a “thug” by a voice from beyond the grave – that of doomed Kennedy wife Carolyn Bessette.
The blond bride of John F. Kennedy Jr. apparently despised the bad-boy rapper and had no problem letting others know she did.
In a Vanity Fair excerpt of Richard Blow’s controversial new JFK Jr. bio, “American Son,” the author writes that Bessette was livid when she had to sit next to Combs at a charity dinner sponsored by her husband’s magazine George and Paul Newman.
“She wandered over to my table,” Blow writes.
“And with a big smile on her face whispered sweetly into my ear, ‘I can’t believe I’ve had to sit next to that thug Puffy Combs all night.'”
Blow also reveals that John Jr. was an unlikely fan of his dad’s onetime political nemesis, Richard Nixon.
“After my father’s death, Nixon was very kind to my mother,” he quotes JFK Jr. as saying.
“He invited us to the White House once, and my mother and sister were convinced that I would spill my milk because I always did. So we sat down to dinner and after maybe 10 minutes, I knocked my glass of milk all over the table.”
Did Nixon erupt?
“Nah, not at all. He helped wipe it up,” John said.
“Actually, I always liked Nixon. He and my father got along well after the election. Not many people can relate to life at that level of politics.
“Those who do feel a bond, regardless of what party they belong to.”
