Paris Hilton settles licensing beef with underwear firm

Paris Hilton no longer has her knickers in a knot over a busted licensing deal with an Italian underwear firm.

The socialite-turned-fashionista settled her long-running legal battle with Le Bonitas today by negotiating a new pact for a line of Paris Hilton-brand lingerie and swimwear.

Details of the eve-of-trial agreement were confidential, but Hilton lawyer Michael Weinsten called it a “win-win for both sides,” adding that the skivvies should hit the market next year.

Hilton — who last month opened her 44th handbag store in Bogota, Colombia — had been scheduled to defend herself next week in Manhattan federal court against claims she failed to approve Le Bonitas’ designs on time, costing the company $200,000 in upfront payments and other expenses.

Hilton counter-sued for $1.6 million-plus in royalties she said she had been promised.
