West Village welcomes its resident Bush

Presidential granddaughter/niece/model Lauren Bush Lauren can feed a lot of people in the new $28.5 million West Village compound that she bought with hubby David Lauren from celebrity shutterbug Annie Leibovitz.

Lauren Bush Lauren, the niece of former President George W. Bush and the granddaughter of former President George H. W. Bush, is the CEO, creative director and co-founder of FEED Projects, which helps children around the world. David Lauren, the son of Ralph Lauren, is a top executive at Ralph Lauren Corp.

Bush Lauren’s mother, Sharon Smith Bush, a broker at Corcoran, helped represent her.

The compound consists of 755 and 757 Greenwich St., which Leibovitz bought for $4.2 million in 2002 and 311 W. 11th St., which she bought for $1.9 million in 2003.

Altogether the compound spans 10,200 square feet and comes with seven bedrooms, 5½ baths, 13 fireplaces and a private gated garden.
