Mastermind behind Hollywood burglaries ID’d

A California woman who wanted what Hollywood stars have is the mastermind behind a string of robberies that included the homes of Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge, according to reports.

Rachel J. Lee, 19, was busted yesterday, one of five arrests cops made in the case. Along with Lee, Diana Tamayo, Courtney Ames, Alexis Neirs and Ray Lopez were arrested, according to TMZ.com and People.

The first suspect, Nick Prugo, was arrested in September. Lee and Prugo were high school classmates.

People described Lee as having an obsessive fascination with celebrity fashion.

She and her alleged accomplices used star maps and the Internet to find the homes of stars, and then figured out when they wouldn’t be home, People reported.

At Lee’s father’s Las Vegas home, cops found two laptops, photographs of a partially nude woman, photographs of Lee’s friends, 204 $100 bills, a Korean passport and a vial of marijuana, TMZ reported.

There also were items that may have come from celebrity homes.

Other possible victims of the group include Rachel Bilson, Orlando Bloom and Paris Hilton.
