WASHINGTON — Israeli Jews who survived World War II have a higher risk for cancer than other Jews, possibly as a result of hardships endured in the Holocaust, researchers said yesterday.
Their study suggests that stress, extreme deprivation or other factors may play a role in triggering cancer.
