NYPD ‘bite’ suit from the horse’s mouth

No one messes with Mr. Biggs.

A New Jersey woman claims she was menaced and attacked outside a Chelsea restaurant last summer by a huge and vicious assailant, who bit her on the forearm, leaving her with “severe” injuries.

To make matters worse, the “ferocious,” long-faced perpetrator had one of New York’s Finest escorting him, said the alleged victim, Dineen Rudd, of Fair Lawn.

The “wild and unruly” attacker was a horse, a member of the NYPD’s Mounted Unit, Rudd claimed.

Rudd’s encounter with Mr. Biggs happened near the bar Porky’s on West 21st Street, when a mounted police officer allowed his horse to approach her, according to a lawsuit Rudd filed last week against the city in Manhattan Supreme Court.

That’s when Mr. Biggs sunk his chompers into the Jersey girl, leaving her with permanent injuries, Rudd claims.

Rudd insists the city should have know about Mr. Biggs’ “propensity to attack and bite human beings,” according to court papers.

The city has not yet received the legal papers in the case, a Law Department spokeswoman said.
