Hill up for coffee talk with Palin

A coffee summit may be brewing.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said yesterday that she would like to chat with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin over a cup of joe, just as the one-time GOP vice-presidential candidate suggested in her book.

“Why, I absolutely would look forward to having coffee” with Palin, Clinton said yesterday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

The idea came from Palin’s new book, “Going Rogue.”

Clinton said that she had no plans to buy the book but that she would be delighted to get to know the self-proclaimed “hockey mom” personally.

“I’ve never met her, and I think it would be, you know, very interesting to sit down and talk with her,” Clinton said. Daphne Retter
