John Edwards is still carrying on with his baby mama — and the smitten mistress is hoping for happily ever after, family and ex-friends revealed yesterday.
When asked when the shamed pol “stopped seeing” Rielle Hunter, former Edwards aide Andrew Young told Fox News’ Sean Hannity, “I don’t think he has. I think he’s very much still . . . ”
“Even now?” Hannity asked.
“Yes,” Young replied.
His new tell-all, “The Politician,” details the cover-up of Edwards’ affair with his former campaign videographer.
“She still believes they will be together,” Hunter’s sister, Roxanne Marshall, says in an “Inside Edition” segment to air tonight.
Marshall says Hunter is very much in love and will not speak publicly about the father of her 2-year old daughter, Quinn, as long as she believes they could wind up as a couple.
Edwards’ wife, Elizabeth, filed for legal separation last month.
