NYPD seeking potential deadly B’klyn fire witness

Police are looking for a “potential witness” who may have information about a suspected arson fire in Brooklyn that killed a 17-year-old girl, officials said tonight.

Sofia Olivo was killed, and five others were injured in a blaze that tore through a three-story building Monday.

Officials said Olivo, a student at Grover Cleveland HS, became trapped when she missed the chance to jump to safety from a second-floor window.

Cops said gasoline from a can found near the Harrison Place building was poured in the vestibule, where the 4:30 a.m. fire started.

Police have video of two men entering the vestibule and leaving as the fire erupted, but they have been unable to identify them.

In the meantime, cops released a photo of a man who might have seen the firebugs in action. He was captured by surveillance cameras in a nearby Laundromat.
