Star trek

JENNY MCCARTHY: Hawaii is our favorite place to go. We probably go three or four times a year. It’s beautiful; tropical. I don’t have to speak a different language and the money’s the same. It’s our second home, really.

EMMY ROSSUM: The Maldives. I hear it’s amazing. I want to stay in one of those bungalows over the water, where you can’t see anyone.

KRISTIN CHENOWETH: Australia! I’ve been invited to sing there.

EVAN RACHEL WOOD: Berlin. It’s kind of magical. There’s arts everywhere, and they still manage to have that great balance of history and [being] modern. So, it’s kind of like Paris and New York just got together and had Berlin!

DITA VON TEESE: I just want to go somewhere I’ve never been before, try something new. I’d love to go to Bali. I love tropical vacations. I love when I get to take off my red lipstick and my heels and put my feet in the sand and sit under an umbrella.

WES ANDERSON: Japan. I would like to go there and stay for a long period of time — several months. I was only there once; I stayed in a ryokan, a traditional hotel.

JUDAH FRIEDLANDER: I want to take a vacation where I stay at home, but I tell everyone I’m out of town and just renovate my place.

JULIAN LENNON: I’ve yet to go to India, which I hear amazing things about.

CHARLOTTE RONSON: I’d love to go to Thailand. For the people, the beaches, for finding fabrics to inspire me when I design. I’ve never been there.

JON BON JOVI: New Jersey!

JASON SCHWARTZMAN: America. I’d like to do a really thorough trip, get in a car and drive around for a couple of weeks and really get a sense of it.

PERI GILPIN: Paris. I went there a few years ago for Thanksgiving, accidentally — I just wound up there. It was beautiful to be there in the wintertime.
